SMS Terms and Conditions

American Surgeons Group Patient Texts is a text messaging program run by American Surgeons Group, Ltd. (ASG Foot & Ankle Clinic). Texts are sent from (708) 918-8833 and are about your appointments, your requests and follow-ups: appointment confirmations and reminders, replies when you text our office (including an automated scheduling assistant that can book, reschedule or cancel appointments), follow-ups about your appointment or callback requests, and optional requests to upload an insurance card or foot photo after you book. You agree to receive texts from American Surgeons Group Patient Texts at the mobile number you give us when you:

• sign up with the form on our text program page by ticking the box that reads “Yes, I agree to receive text messages from American Surgeons Group at (708) 918-8833 about my appointments, my requests and follow-ups. Msg & data rates may apply, msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of care or purchase.” (the box is never checked for you);
• text (708) 918-8833 first, in which case we reply to your messages; or
• book an appointment on our website or by phone and give us your mobile number, in which case we send appointment texts for that visit.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of care or purchase. You can reply STOP at any time, and you can always book and manage appointments by phone at (708) 799-7500 instead.

Message frequency varies with your appointments and conversations with us, usually a few messages around each appointment request or visit.

We do not charge for texts. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier, based on your plan.

You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message to stop all program texts. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work. We will confirm by text that you are unsubscribed and will not send further program texts unless you opt in again, for example by replying START.

A one-word reply of CANCEL opts you out of texts. To cancel an appointment by text, write a full sentence such as “please cancel my appointment”, or call (708) 799-7500.

Reply HELP to any message, call (708) 799-7500, or email info@asgfoot.com.

You confirm that you are the account holder or an authorized user of the mobile number you give us, such as a caregiver helping a patient with scheduling. If you change or give up that number, please reply STOP from it or let our office know so texts are not sent to the next owner of the number.

Texts are not monitored around the clock and are not a substitute for medical care. For a medical emergency, call 911. Please do not text detailed medical information unless we ask for it, and call the office if you would rather discuss something by phone.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or text message opt-in consent with third parties for marketing. Our SMS Privacy Policy explains how we handle program information, and our website Privacy Policy covers the rest of asgfoot.com.

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version, currently October 14, 2026. If a change affects how we text you, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
