Patient Text Messages

American Surgeons Group Patient Texts is the text messaging program of American Surgeons Group, Ltd. (ASG Foot & Ankle Clinic), a podiatry and foot and ankle surgery practice. Our offices are at 1757 Ridge Rd in Homewood, 19638 S LaGrange Rd in Mokena (serving New Lenox and nearby towns) and 3042 S Chicago Rd in South Chicago Heights, Illinois.

Program texts come from our local number (708) 918-8833. Our main office phone is (708) 799-7500.

Enter your mobile number and tick the box to get texts about your appointments, your requests and follow-ups. The box is never checked for you, and the form only submits once you tick it.

• Appointment confirmations and reminders.
• Replies when you text our office. An automated scheduling assistant answers scheduling questions and can book, reschedule or cancel an appointment for you, and our staff can step in at any time.
• Follow-ups about your requests, for example checking in if you asked for an appointment or a callback and have not picked a time yet.
• After you book, an optional request to upload a photo of your insurance card or of your foot concern through a secure link, so we can prepare for your visit.

We only text about your appointments, your requests and follow-ups, and we never sell or share your mobile number for marketing.

You join the program in one of these ways:

• Signing up with the form on this page. Enter your mobile number and tick the box, which reads: “Yes, I agree to receive text messages from American Surgeons Group at (708) 918-8833 about my appointments, my requests and follow-ups. Msg & data rates may apply, msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of care or purchase.”
• Texting (708) 918-8833 first. We reply to your messages about scheduling and your visits.
• Booking an appointment on asgfoot.com or by phone and giving us your mobile number. You then receive appointment texts for that visit: confirmations, reminders and photo requests.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of care or purchase.

If you would rather not get texts, reply STOP at any time. You can still book, keep and change appointments by calling (708) 799-7500.

Message frequency varies. It depends on your appointments and on how often you text us, and is usually a few messages around each appointment request or visit.

Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan.

Reply STOP to any message at any time to opt out of all program texts. You can also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT. We will send one text confirming you are unsubscribed, and then no more program texts.

A one-word reply of CANCEL is treated as an opt-out. To cancel an appointment by text instead, write a full sentence such as “please cancel my appointment”, or call (708) 799-7500.

Opting out does not affect your care. To start receiving texts again, reply START to (708) 918-8833.

Reply HELP to any message for help. You can also call (708) 799-7500 or email info@asgfoot.com.

Texts are not monitored around the clock. For a medical emergency, call 911. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• American Surgeons Group: Before your visit, you can upload a photo of your insurance card at the secure link we sent with your booking. Reply STOP to opt out.
• American Surgeons Group: Following up on your appointment request. Would you like help finding a time to see the doctor this week? Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.
