  • Have your prescription filled and follow the label directions.
  • Do not drink alcohol with your prescriptions.
  • Go directly home and lie down after surgery
  • Keep your feet elevated above your hips.
  • Keep your bandages dry until you see your doctor.
  • Wear the surgical shoe at all times when walking.
  • Do not walk on your foot any more than necessary.
  • Appearance of blood through the dressing is not unusual.
  • If bleeding after 18 hours, contact your doctor.
  • As you can see, much of the success of your surgery depends upon you. Please follow these instructions carefully. If you have any questions, call us anytime.
