Have your prescription filled and follow the label directions.
Do not drink alcohol with your prescriptions.
Go directly home and lie down after surgery
Keep your feet elevated above your hips.
Keep your bandages dry until you see your doctor.
Wear the surgical shoe at all times when walking.
Do not walk on your foot any more than necessary.
Appearance of blood through the dressing is not unusual.
If bleeding after 18 hours, contact your doctor.
